Amazing Sri Lanka

You will be warmly welcomed by your own Sanki Leisure Chauffer at Bandaranayke International Airport and transferred to your first destination, Kitulgala the rafter’s paradise. Kitulgala is also famous around the world for a filming location of 11th greatest British film of the 20th Century, “The Bridge of the River Kwai” (1957) where a railway bridge was built to film the movie and blown up when a train crossing the bridge. You will have a chance to have a glimpse of the location.
Spend the first night in Sri Lanka with the sound of nature and the river.

After a healthy breakfast it’s time for you to get wet in Kelani River on a raft. Put on your safety gear and get on board for a thrilling activity while dancing water of Kelani River takes you down through 2 to 3 rapids. Incase if you are interested, you will be able to go to Belilena Caves which are 28,500 years old or Zip line adventure activity (not included in package) before you depart to your next destination.

After Lunch proceed to the Kings land of north central province where you get closer to one of the World Heritage site named by UNESCO, Sigiriya.

Get ready to climb the 400 feet giant rock column which was a fortress built by King Kasyapa during 477-495CE. Passing the Lions Stare case to look at the poetry on Mirror Wall, The ancient murals of “Sigiri Apsara”, and reach to the top where the Castle was long time ago. Filled with hidden Engineering wonders such as Irrigation and architecture anyone would wonder how they built it. Once reaching the top you will be able to witness the lost City in its ruins.

A leisure time in the evening will give you time to take nap and maybe a visit to an Ayurveda spar to help relax yourself (not included).

Evening breeze from the lake will keep you fresh till next day morning at hotel.

Sanki Leisure will take you to another Sri Lanka’s World Heritage site. The Former “Senkadagala” now known as Kandy is where Load Gauthama Buddha’s relic of the tooth rests. En-route to Kandy Sanki Leisure Chauffeur will stop at the Golden Temple in Dambulla for you to witness the temple also known as the Cave Temple complex which dated back to the first century BCE. There are 5 caves with ancient murals covering 2,100 square meters.

After checking in at the hotel you will be able to visit the Temple of Tooth, Royal Palace, National Museum, International Buddhist Museum, The Kandy Lake and surrounding.

After breakfast, put on your trekking shoes and get ready to trek at knuckles mountains range. Sanki Leisure Chauffeur will take you closer to the range where the journey to be continued by foot through beautiful surrounding mountains and fields for about 7 kilometers.

After returning from the range, take a little break and hit to the street for some shopping. Sanki Leisure Chauffeur will take you through the City of Kandy to visit Batik center, a Gem shop and gem lapidary and an Arts and craft center. You will have wide variety of clothing, jewelries, hand crafts and much more to choose from.
Rest at Hotel overnight.

Next stop is Ella. A city filled with beautiful backdrops of mountains and waterfalls. In order to reach to this destination Sanki Leisure will use the Sri Lanka Railway in a luxury compartment. The Journey is the most beautiful journey in Sri Lanka. Sanki Leisure Chauffer will be waiting at Ella Railway Station along with your carefully secured heavy luggage to pick you up. You will be at a hotel with a breathtaking view and allow you to rest for the day
Spending a cold comfortable night in Ella

Breakfast will get chilled if you do not have it on time. Step out of the hotel to see a beautiful waterfall Ella is famous for, The “Ravana Falls”. Falling from a 25meters height Ravana Falls will look like a white silk drape and if you are lucky you will be able to get a bath from its dazzling dew. Named after the legendary king Ravana, from a famous epic, the Ramayana, This waterfall is one of the most visited place in Sri Lanka both foreign and local crowd.
Overnight stay in Ella.

Rest and relax day. If you feel like you have had enough rest, you may try the Little Adam’s peak. Unless you want your back to be dead numb by the end of the day, travel light and dress warm. The walk up will be quite spectacular.

You will also have a chance to visit a tea plantation and all throughout your time in Ella, Be sure to enjoy the fresh cup of Ceylon Tea.
Once you are back hit to a hot shower and get ready for a good night sleep.

After a good relaxed morning Sanki Leisure Chauffer will meet you to continue your journey. This time it will be to see the wild. On your way you will be circling around mountains and steep but safe hills to reach Udawalawe. Check-in at Udawalawe Hotel

Get wild. Your Safari Jeep will be at your hotel doorstep to pick you up and head towards Udawalawe National Park. This National Park is famous for its high population of Asian Wild Elephants. You will also come across endemic floral species within this park. If you are lucky enough with a good camera you will be able to capture lots of nice photos of a collection of wild animals we are about to loose from the Planet earth.
Spend the night near a camp fire.

Check-in at a hotel near the Beach. You are at the most dry region of Sri Lanka. Enjoy some leisure time at the beach and make sure to rub sunscreen before you enjoy the southern sun bath.

After early breakfast hop in to the Safari Jeep for another Wild Adventure at Bundala National Park, A Wintering Park for lots of migrating birds. This is one of biosphere reserve named by UNESCO and the 4th one of its kind in Sri Lanka. You will be able to spot hundreds of bird animals.

Leisure at Hotel.

Enjoy the beautiful view of sunrise with a fresh cup of tea and breakfast. Next visit is to the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, Mirissa. On your way you will be able to enjoy small pot of buffalo curd with Trickle freshly made by villages you pass by. While heading to Mirissa, Sanki Leisure Chauffeur will stop at Tangalle beach, Point Dondra, the south most point of Sri Lanka. The lighthouse constructed on 1890 and all materials for the construction was imported from England.

Prepare your essentials and get ready to be boarded on a 53 feet Catamaran while your rest of the luggage in safe hands of Sanki Leisure Chauffeur. You will be welcomed by the Captain and the crew. Drinks and snacks will be served soon after you get on board. This will be a private cruise and will contain separate cabins, Watch the sunset while the chef prepares your special seafood dinner and served in the seclusion of Weligama Bay.
Spend the night at sea.

Crew set sail at dawn towards the giants in sea to reach them by 7:00am. You will be waking up with the whales. Enjoy the Fresh Fruits and exquisite Ceylon Tea while observing Whales. Chef will prepare Lunch while you all can jump to sea after reaching the Mirissa beach. You may enjoy swimming or paddle-boarding. After Lunch you will be back with the Sanki Leisure Chauffeur at Mirissa Harbor by 1:30pm.
Head towards your hotel by the beach to relax.

After Breakfast head towards Galle, the city of Dutch got its name from the word “Gallus” means the rooster. They have used the rooster as the symbol of Galle. Before the invasion by Portuguese in 16th Century it was the main port of ancient Sri Lanka. Showing the interaction between Portuguese architectural styles the city was extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century. This is the largest remaining fortress in Asia build by the Europeans.

On your way to Galle you will witness the site of Stilt Fisherman fishing on a vertical pole, a unique style of fishing to Sri Lanka.

Beach fun. If you are a diver, you may ask Sanki Leisure Chauffer to take you to a place where you can dive with professional diving equipment with a training of an instructor (Optional) or you can choose a water sport available in the area.
Or else you will be able visit Roomassala Mountain where you can see the whole Galle Harbour along with the Fort complex at a far distance. It’s a beautiful site to see.

Evening a street walk will let you enjoy some street food, buy some ornaments would be a nice idea. Sanki Leisure Chauffeur will guide you.

After breakfast, proceed to Hikkaduwa, a famous sanctuary and a home for approximately seventy varieties of corals, where you can book a boat to see the bottom of the sea. It is the second best spot to do board Surfing in Sri Lanka. This is a great area to do snorkeling too.

After Breakfast you can enjoy a Mangrove Cruise on a river. A beautiful costal wetland ecosystem created by mangroves grown in its estuary provides a sanctuary to 248 species of vertebrate animals and 303 species of plants. In an isolated island surrounded by Madu River you can find the Buddhist Kothduwa temple.

Turtles are a rare animal and one of the Conservation project is nearby to your location called Kosgoda. It’s a prime turtle nesting site where there is a hatchery and all necessary background to conserve wide variety of Turtles such as Green, Hawksbill, Loggerhead, Olive Ridley and Leather back.

Later part of the day you will be transferred to Colombo the Commercial City. Probably the best place to do shopping while you walk around the city. Sanki Leisure Chauffer will take you through important places in city which has historical, economic and political.
